Samuel is available for solo performances and is also available to other musicians as an accompanist or as a substitute musician in an established group, for both rehearsals and performances.
Well-versed in classical and jazz piano, Samuel is also experienced in other musical styles, including pop, rock, Latin, blues, ragtime and contra dance.
Samuel performs in the Blue Skies Jazz Duo with his twin brother, Jake Whitesell, an accomplished saxophonist and flautist based in Montpelier, Vermont.
Blue Skies is also available as a trio with the addition of a bass player, as a quartet with the addition of a drummer, or as a quintet with the addition of a second horn player or a singer.
